This is the sustainable take on the zip-lock, single-use sandwich bag. Measuring approximately 8" wide and 8.5" tall. They're made of a sturdy quilters cotton treated with a food-safe polymeric laminate making the fabric water resistant. Across the top is a 1" wide strip of "hook-and-loop" (Velcro) to seal it shut and keep your favorite sandwich or snacks fresh, clean, and secure.
What's more, you can also use one of these babies to stash a handful of chips or crackers or even some fruit or granola. We've also used these great little bags for traveling. They're great for toiletries, electronics, or other small items you need to keep secure. They come in many different fun and beautiful colors and prints and are easy to care for.
After use, turn your bag inside-out, give it a quick wash in the sink (regular dish soap will do) and let it air-dry over night and it'll be waiting for you to use again the next morning! If it happened to become very dirty and gross, don't despair. It is safe to toss your bag into the laundry with the rest of your dish towels and whatnot. It is washer/dryer safe! Keep in mind that machine washing is harder on products than hand washing and it is recommended to machine wash only occasionally as a simple rinse in the sink is usually sufficient.
The life-span of one of these sweet bags is about two years and you just can't beat that. Let's stop filling the landfills with wasteful, single-use plastic and treat our Mother right. Also, you'll look really cool doing it!
