The fabric is about the same weight as a t-shirt and has a beautiful drape to it.
You can wear this as-is with the wide fabric belt (included)or you can easily add a decorative corset or belt to dress it up.
The waistline is gathered with an elastic band, as are the sleeves and the neckline. The wearer can choose to position the sleeves at, over, or below the shoulder.

Modal fabric is a bio-based fabric that is made from spinning beech tree cellulose. Modal is generally considered a more eco-friendly alternative to cotton because beech trees don't require much water to grow and therefore the production process uses about 10-20 times less water.
